Scam company. They take your money upfront, then deny they said they would deliver to any kind of timescale known to civilised society. Ok so they said within 7 days when they meant 7 WORKING days, and then they deny that and say it’s 10 instead, oh and then sorry it’s actually 12. Now is that days or working days? It’s more than a hopeless company, it’s a SCAM company. Just look at the awful reviews. No wonder their office employees work from home……perhaps the drivers do too?! 🤣. Scam, illegal, inhuman (considering the amount of people who suffer the cold because their oil runs dry) and pathetic. Pass the word on people 👎

Worst oil company I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with in 20 years. Terrible customer service, promised delivery dates not fulfilled, arrogant unhelpful staff. Will never use again

A complete and utter shambles of a company. We ordered our oil over 3 weeks ago with a local syndicate and it has only just arrived. Further, because of the delay I sent a message via their website asking to increase our order and for an acknowledgement. I received nothing and when the oil turned up today it was the original quantity. Members of our syndicate have spent up to 90 minutes on the phone waiting for their customer service staff to answer and, when they did finally pick up the phone, couldn't tell anyone when the oil might be delivered. Their systems are inefficient and wasteful, the (lovely) delivery driver said that his schedule had him returning to the same road three times rather than do all the deliveries there at the same time. Our delivery ticket even had the wrong time on it, 2 hours later than the actual time! We shall not, under any circumstances, be returning to Watsons. Avoid at all costs, if I could give it zero stars I would... ☹☹😱

Utterly hopeless, would give zero stars is possible… Placed my kerosene order on 8th December 2022 on the understanding it would be delivered no later than 21st December and so comfortably in time for Christmas. Chased by phone and email on: 23rd December Then again by phone to request a manager call-back on: 30th December By email to request a manager call-back on: 2nd January By phone to and promised a manager call-back by close of play on: 3rd January And here we are almost a month after first placing the order still waiting for the delivery, still waiting for a call-back having spent somewhere in the region of 3-hours on hold to the customer services line only to be fobbed off with gems like “I’ll pass this on to our customer services managers” and “our managers are in today and I can assure you they’ll call you back today…” And not a single email responded to either. Un-surprisingly, much faster to be connected to the sales line, but no one can help with customer services there... Maybe stop taking orders until you’ve got on top of your backlog, Watsons and for goodness sake; do your existing customers the decency of responding to their concerns! Un-fulfilled in Norfolk!

Ordered heating oil through Boiler Juice which we've never had problems before, paid 0.63 a litre waited nearly 2 weeks for delivery from Watson's to be told my oil tank has a crack in it. I've checked and there is no crack on my 6 year old tank. Meanwhile prices have doubled since my order was placed. Can't get hold of Watson's to discuss so called crack!!!! Rubbish service.

The consortium I am part of normally uses another oil provider, on this occasion I was told there would be a 4 week delay and no updates were available, I placed my order early because I was running low. After 2 weeks I called the consortium to obtain the name of the provider and was informed it was Watsons. Customer service was very helpful and told me they would look into moving the delivery date forward and would call me back the next day. I received a call 5 minutes later even though it was after 5-30 and informed my delivery would come on Tuesday 31st 3 working days time. As I was extremely low by now due to the cold nights I was very grateful. Today my delivery came as promised and let me have an extra 100 litres as my tank was by now below quarter. I cannot comment on the other reviews but they were courteous, helpful and concerned. In future I will use them, at this time I am not worried about saving a few pence by waiting a month for oil through the consortium, Its more important to have the oil when you need it, i.e within 2 weeks of the order. I can now put the heating on at night and in the morning.

Watsons has been the worst oil delivery company we have ever used. We have a small syndicate here in our village and it took from ordering on 1 April to 18 May to deliver to our members. There was absolutely no regard for customer service whatsoever - people were not informed about delivery nor contacted for payment despite repeated requests from the organiser. A complete shambles!! (Cannot erase the one star which Watsons do not deserve)

Have cancelled delivery twice. Obviously cannot keep up with orders. I paid extra to have it delivered by a certain date. Not delivered on or before that date. Will make sure not to use them in the future. I have never had a problem with any other supplier. Do not recommend at all.

Do not use this Company. Twice we were told we would have a delivery on a certain day and twice this did not happen, and was not told until we called chasing up. They were aware we were out of heating oil. We have young children with no heat. They even tried to blame us, even though we had evidence to prove that we were correct. Even when customer services said they were trying to resolve, we had to call them to get an update. The excuses kept changing each time we called.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Shocking service. Fuel should have been delivered a week ago after an original lead time of 10 working days, kept getting given new delivery dates which came and went without even a courtesy call to let us know why. I told them I was worried about running out as have young baby in the house but made no difference. I have now cancelled my order and gone to Goff. Needless to say I will never be ordering from Watsons again. In response to company's reply below: Our driveway is over 8ft wide and other companies manage to deliver fuel to us and the 2 other houses we share a driveway with. Also does in no way explain the complete lack of communication. Were Watsons just going to keep our money even though they supposedly couldn't access the house?!
