I was nervous e before the first cataract surgery but the staff at new medica were very understanding professional and supportive.Both surgeons were excellent with good communication skills and I was both surprised and pleased how painless the procedure was Thanks to all the staff

I Couldn’t fault them, I had mine done on 8th Sept 2023 Staff absolutely charming Nice Tea Coffee and biscuits Everyone I have seen have been super efficient Matt Schneider is a brilliant surgeon and so quick, I felt completely at ease, no pain whatsoever I just need my other cataract done as soon as possible so I don’t feel so disoriented with one good eye and one not so good!

Staff were all professional but kind and understanding too. You were never rushed and everything was explained clearly.

The staff and care were top rate, I cannot praise them enough. I had laser performed on one eye which gave me 20/20 vision. Then had a cataract operation on the other eye. Matthew Schneider performed the operation, which was pain and trouble free and over within minutes, he was excellent and explained what he was doing. Thanks to Newmedica I can see perfectly now!

Can give nothing but praise with the service so far, the whole team, from the initial contact/reception through to the clinical looked after my 90year old Dad respectfully and attentively. The surgical team and the surgeon, Dr Niyadurupola, took time to explain and ensure he understood the process. The op itself was very straightforward and he was comfortable and able to manage at home quite quickly afterward. It was lovely to hear Dad explain how bright the colours on his TV were only a few days later! Compared to the long projected wait I was dreading if we had to go the NNUH, this service is impeccable and still comes under the NHS, so its an extremely efficient way of handling cataract waiting lists. Not long to wait for the other eye to be done and he will be a very happy nonagenarian!

I can’t tell you how I feel after having my cataracts operated on by the Newmedica team ! From the moment you enter the door you are treated with friendliness and a feeling that you are special! I had the first op and could not believe the difference in my sight! I have worn glasses for several years and the sight has steadily become worse ! After the second op on my other eye, the difference is remarkable! I can see at a distance! I have no hesitation in recommending Newmedica to anyone and I especially want to thank each and every one of you who work there from the Receptionists to the Surgeons on their fantastic work!

Had a bad experience with Doctor Aseema Misra. She was very abrupt and did not listen to me. Poor hygiene, where she did not use hand sanitiser before examining me. Would give 0 star if this is an option. I have requested not to see her again. I would appreciate if Newmedica will feedback this to her.
