Excellent service for selling/buying a house. We chose Ashtons after a recommendation from a friend (after having issues and delays with our first purchase with another solicitor a few years ago) and so glad that we did. The price was a little more than some of the cheaper conveyancers would have been, but not much more and still very reasonable in my opinion - and the service was so much better! Well worth it. Communication was excellent, everything was clearly explained and all the steps and costs outlined perfectly. They worked fast and did a thorough job. It was really easy to get in touch whenever we needed, and they responded very quickly to all our enquiries as well as to our estate agent, which meant everything went through so much more smoothly. We aren't near the office and we were able to do almost all the documents required digitally (just downloaded the PDFs and edited /signed them on Google Drive), and the rest by post. They use a secure email portal for all sensitive communication.

Contacted them 4 times to get a quote for some services regarding a dispute, each time I called they said "sorry we'll escalate and get someone to call you back shortly". One month later, still no contact or responses.

The team in Ashton's legal have been nothing short of professional and have gone above and beyond to see our case to fruition. I do not have enough words to express how great the whole team has been for me and my family in our nearly a decade long journey together. Very transparent with the process. Absolutely terrible service. Ashton's were the bank appointed solicitor for a commercial mortgage I was setting up. The bank were slow but Ashton's were even slower and the mortgage ended up taking over a year to set up. With the fees I paid I would have expected at least some level of service. I will avoid having Ashton's involved with anything in the future.

Honestly the best solicitors I've used in Norwich ( and I've used a fair few!). They were professional, always replied within 24 hours, no chasing needed, not at all patronising and just genuinely really nice people! Highly recommended ( I liaised mainly with Katie Williams and Abby dalzeil). Made the stressful process of buying a house bearable! :)

Ashtons Legal have done the conveyancing for multiple purchases and sales of both my own houses as well as buy to let houses. They have always been very quick to respond to any questions I have had and have managed to get complicated purchases through with ease and as always a lot of attention to detail. Claire and her team have always looked after me well and I cannot recommend them enough. Despite it being one of the busiest times for solicitors due to stamp duty breaks, they recently managed to get a purchase done very quickly with no fuss.
